The Fontainebleau Las
Vegas is a hotel-casino resort that's currently under construction... it's
location occupies the former site of the El Rancho and Algiers hotels...
construction is scheduled for completion in late 2009... however, Fontainebleau
Las Vegas LLC filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2009 in an
effort to restructure debt and financing, thus making previous projections for
completion dates uncertain.Plans for The Fontainebleau include approx. 3,889 rooms,
and approx 100,000 sq.ft. of gaming space.
